Our project was originally intended to benefit the entire community through a grant application with the Legacy Land Conservation Program. However, after encountering strong opposition from the community, we have decided to move forward privately. This new approach allows us to work closely with a group of Hawaiians who share our vision and have chosen to be part of this initiative.
