Flexibility and Soundproofing

Updated: Feb 19

In a video lasting nearly six hours, we were granted 20 minutes to present a transformative project dedicated to serving the Hawaiian community. However, we encountered strong opposition—a respected leader even warned us about this in advance.

Despite considering prior adjustments, we ultimately decided to withdraw our grant request with sincere apologies. This decision was made to gracefully conclude our request and avoid further offending those who failed to understand our unwavering commitment to giving back entirely to the community.

100 Supporters, 98 Opponents: A Divided Community Response

Throughout this process, the Hawaiian community showed both strong support and opposition—with 100 supporters and 98 opponents. While many saw the immense potential and positive impact of this project, others remained resistant. And so, the residents remain with the status quo—without the opportunity for progress. Ironically, "nothing" was the response, yet even after our withdrawal, concerns continued.

Removing the Project from Public Partnership & Moving Forward Privately

This project was originally planned as a public initiative in collaboration with the government to benefit the community. However, after receiving strong opposition, we made the decision to remove it from the public process and move forward privately for acquiring 130 acres of land.

Please note:

Members of the local community are actively involved in this private initiative, ensuring that the land is preserved with purpose for future generations. Since this is being managed privately, the original public plan has been phased out.

A new conservation plan is in progress, with important steps being taken. Stay tuned for the upcoming release!

We remain committed to preserving, sustaining, and giving back—ensuring that this land will continue to serve the people in a purposeful way.

See our final flyer that was proposed for the public purpose with the modifications.

For those interested, the 20-minute intervention can be viewed at 1 hour and 56 minutes into the video.
